Meet the Founders

Corey & Meg Waldrop

Meg and Corey Waldrop, the husband-wife team steering Motiv Ventures, are Fort Worth natives and alumni of TCU. Their journey into real estate started during their college years, and since 2007 they have dedicated their time to a shared passion for real estate investment and development — growing their network and expertise along the way.

With the progression into Motiv Ventures, they channel their collective wisdom into reshaping the real estate environment, enhancing the Greater Fort Worth area and enriching its community.

Corey Waldrop

Co-Founder & CEO

Corey began his distinguished career in residential construction in 2007. Before Motiv, he founded and led a successful real estate investment firm, managing the completion of more than 75 projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, representing a total value of over $100 million and establishing a reputation for exceptional design and quality in luxury home building. He earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University and is an alumnus of TCU. His innovative approach was acknowledged by Building Magazine in 2019. Corey also made headlines in 2008 as the youngest angler to qualify for the ESPN Bassmaster Elite tour.

Meg Waldrop

Co-Founder

Meg brings extensive experience from her leadership owning and operating a high-end custom home building company known for its innovative and award-winning designs. Under her leadership the company has earned multiple "Best of Fort Worth" awards and has been recognized by Fort Worth Magazine for "Best New Build" and "Best Remodel." A licensed Realtor since 2010, Meg also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association. She is a TCU alumna.
